Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of runalignd.com, the Alignd web application, and Alignd's creator-matching service (together, the "Service"), operated by Alignd ("Alignd," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Alignd is a done-for-you creator-matching service. You share your brand's website with us; we analyze it and provide a shortlist of creators we believe are a good fit, based on brand aesthetic, audience quality, and other factors we assess. The Service is currently offered to a limited group of founding brands.

2. No guarantee of results

Creator recommendations are based on our analysis and judgment at a point in time. We do not guarantee that any recommended creator will agree to work with you, that a partnership will perform in any particular way, or that follower or engagement figures we reference are free of error. Alignd is not responsible for the outcome of any collaboration you enter into with a creator we recommend.

3. Your responsibilities

• You confirm that you have the right to share the brand website and information you provide to us.
• You are responsible for your own communications, contracts, and payments with any creator you choose to work with; Alignd is not a party to those agreements.
• You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to request analysis of a website you do not have authorization to submit.

4. User accounts

Certain parts of the Service, including the Alignd web application, creator matching tools, and saved shortlists, require you to create an account.

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when you create your account, and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree not to share your account access with, or let your account be used by, any unauthorized party.
• You must notify us promptly at runaligndhelp@outlook.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• You must be authorized to act on behalf of the brand or business the account is registered for.

5. Fees

Pricing for the Service is agreed with you directly before any paid work begins. Founding-client pricing, where offered, is provided at our discretion and may change for future engagements.

6. Refunds

Fees paid for the Service are non-refundable once the corresponding deliverable (for example, a creator shortlist or matching results) has been provided to you. If we make an error in a match — for example, recommending a creator who does not meet the criteria you provided — we will work with you to provide a replacement creator at no additional cost rather than issue a refund. Refund requests outside of these circumstances will be considered at our discretion.

7. International clients and currency

The Service is operated from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. If you are located outside Canada, you are responsible for complying with the laws, regulations, and tax obligations of your own jurisdiction, including any import duties, currency-conversion costs, or withholding taxes that may apply to your use of the Service. Fees are quoted and payable in the currency stated to you at the time of purchase.

8. Intellectual property

The Alignd name, site, and shortlist format are our intellectual property. The brand information you share with us remains yours; we use it only to provide the Service to you.

9. Confidentiality

We treat the business details you share with us as confidential and will not share them with unrelated third parties without your consent, except as needed to provide the Service (for example, using analysis tools) or as required by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alignd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including business losses arising from a creator partnership. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding three months.

11. Termination and account suspension

Either party may stop using or providing the Service at any time by notifying the other. We may also suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have misused the Service, violated these Terms, provided false account information, or attempted to gain unauthorized access to accounts or data that are not yours. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including confidentiality and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
